Treehugger CSA

We Love our CSA members!

Red Russian kale, concept romaine, vivid choi, arugula, sorrel, mung bean sprouts, cilantro, Mysore bananas, coconut water, and a choquette avocado filled out this week’s share.

Today we handed out our first CSA shares!  Here at Treehugger, everyone’s proud and excited to finally get the ball rolling on this new model for the farm.  Community supported agriculture(CSA) provides new farms with seed money up front in exchange for a weekly share of the season’s harvest.  It ensures a stable market for the farmer while deepening the customers’ relationship with the farm and their food.  Starting small and slow in true Permaculture style, we’re only offering five initial shares to our closest farm family until we iron out the kinks.  (Thanks for being our guinea pigs, guys!)  We take this new responsibility very seriously, as we always strive to provide the highest quality.  Stay tuned for more openings soon!
